Functional Changes

1. NEW PGE Info Tool Available - A new button has been added to the Tkstat GUI: PGE Info.This button brings up a GUI that summarizes the PGEs and ESDTs configured in that S4PM string.

Detailed File Changes

PGEConfig.pm

• In sub new(), changed a number of the logging messages from having a status of "WARNING" to "DEBUG".
  

pre_specifydata.pl

• Minor change that affects only AIRS PGEs and fixes the data aggregation production rule.
  

s4pm_derived.cfg

• Very minor change to allow non-traditional gears (i.e. beyond forward and reprocessing). This was done to allow us to make "special" S4PM strings.
• Minor addition to where the tkstat.cfg file is generated. A new button was added to bring up the new (see below) PGE information box.
• Modified slightly how the script show_pge.pl is run in the Repeat Daily station by removing the -r option from the repeat_work_order.pl script.
  

s4pm_pge_esdt.cfg

• Synched up with the latest operational version.
  

s4pm_static.cfg

• Changed $cfg_max_children in the Repeat Daily station to 8 from 5 since there are up to 8 standard jobs in there. When set to 5, some never get run.
  

show_pge.pl

• Changed the exit from 1 to 0 when there are no problems. This means that repeat_work_order.pl can run on this without the -r option (see s4pm_derived.cfg changes above).
  

show_uses.pl

• Removed from baseline as it is obsolete.
  

specify_data.pl

• Minor change that affects only AIRS PGEs and fixes the data aggregation production rule.
  

TkJob.pm

• Modified subroutine execute_handler() so that case logging would work completely for jobs that were removed or restarted.
  

tk_pgeinfo.pl

• New Tk GUI that displays information about the PGEs and ESDTs running in the S4PM string.
  

tkreq1.pl

• Removed from baseline as it is obsolete and broken.
