Please see the instructions below to load and use the Google Earth kmz files provided by the GES DISC. If you continue to have further problems with your application please CONTACT US for assistance or see the Google Earth Help Center.

You need to have the latest version fo Google Earth (4.0 Beta) installed on your system and running in order to load the KMZ files. If you do not have this version you can obtain a copy from Google Earth. Save the KMZ files to your computer in a desired location and click on Open File in the File menu in the Google Earth application to load the files. Some internet browsers add a ".xml" suffix to the name of ".kmz" files. You must remove the ".xml" extension from the file names before trying to load these files with GOOGLE EARTH.
