Every four years an important event happens where numerous participants from around the world gather at a single venue for a purpose that generates international interest.
The Olympics? Yes, that's another event that fits this description, but in this case the event is the Quadrennial Ozone Symposium, which will convene in Tromsø, Norway from June 29th to July 5th, 2007.
Chief Scientist Steven Lloyd and head of the Giovanni science team, James Johnson, will represent the GES DISC at the Quadrennial Ozone Symposium.
At the meeting, Johnson will present a poster entitled Exploring the Variability of Ozone and Trace Gases with Giovanni.
Lloyd presented Trends in Southern Hemisphere Albedo using a 27-yr Composite TOMS/SBUV(/2)/OMI Dataset of UV Lambertian Equivalent Reflectivity.
