GES DISC Data Use Acknowledgment

If you are using GES DISC data for a research publication, the following information describes how to properly cite the data in a publication.

Distribution of GES DISC data sets is funded by NASA's Earth-Sun System Division (ESSD). The data are not copyrighted; however, in the event that you publish data or results using these data, we request that you include the following acknowledgment:

"The data used in this study were acquired as part of the activities of the NASA Earth-Sun System Division, and are archived and distributed by the Goddard Earth Sciences (GES) Data and Information Services Center (DISC)."
