04.16.2008 - Global monthly averaged 0.25 degree Noah products from the Global Land Data Assimilation System (GLDAS) are now available from the Hydrology DISC (HDISC). The monthly 0.25 degree Noah products are generated from temporal averaging of the 3-hourly products. This data set covers the period from 2000 to the present. These products can be downloaded from:

The core of the GDS is OPeNDAP, a software framework used for data networking that makes local data accessible to remote locations.

10.05.2007 - The monthly averaged products are generated from temporal averaging of the 3-hourly products. Currently, HDISC distributes 1.0 degree resolution monthly data from 1979 to present for four land surface models (CLM, Mosaic, Noah and VIC).
