ONLINE ACCESS

Online access to KML/KMZ files for NASA imagery data is available in the following. Interested users can first download an example in the left to view and experience it in Google Earth to decide if they really need to access the online system. Please download Google Earth here.

The online accessable NASA imagery includes:

  • CloudSat
  • Cloud-Aerosol Lidar and Infrared Pathfinder Satellite Obervation (CALIPSO).
  • Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS)/Aqua
  • Tropical Rainfall Measurement Mission (TRMM)
  • Atmosphere InfRad Sounder (AIRS)/Aqua

CloudSat vertical data at Google Earth

Cloud Reflectivity (dBZ) and Received Echo Power derived from CloudSat 1B-CPR data are rendered on Google Earth.

Level 3 Version 003 daily, 8-day and monthly physical retrieval standard product, without HSB. Statistical Mean, Std Dev and Input Counts for Surface and Atmospheric Quantities in a 1x1 Lat/Lon Grid Box dervied from combination of AIRS, Advanced Microwave Sounding Unit (AMSU), and the Humidity Sounder for Brazil (HSB).
