A few new references recently added to the Giovanni publication list have increased the count of journal papers or book chapters using Giovanni to 80 in 2009. Just added to the list are:

In addition to those, 2010 references utilizing Giovanni are already appearing. M.C.R. Kalapureddy and P.C.S. Devara of the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology, writing in Atmospheric Research, utilized MODIS aerosol data in Giovanni to examine the atmospheric conditions preceding the onset of the Arabian Sea monsoon during 2006.
