The Goddard Earth Sciences DISC will have a featured presence at the 2009 Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Air Quality Conference, taking place March 2-5, in Addison, Texas (north of Dallas).
GES DISC air quality scientist Ana Prados will conduct a half-day workshop on Monday, March 2nd, which includes a presentation and hands-on exercises demonstrating the use of Giovanni for air quality analysis. The workshop will also show how to use Giovanni products for remarkable visualizations of air quality with Google Earth.
Also at the conference, Prados will be chairman of the session "Use of Remote Sensing for Air Quality Forecasting", which takes place from 8-9:30 AM on Wednesday, March 4. During this session, Prados will speak on "Tools for Access and Visualization of NASA Satellite Data Products for Air Quality Event Analysis", a presentation including Giovanni and other data products and tools provided by the GES DISC.
