The South China Sea Monsoon Experiment (SCSMEX) is a
large-scale experiment to study the water and energy cycles of the
Asian monsoon regions. The goal is to provide a better understanding
of the key physical processes for the onset, maintenance and
variability of the Southeast Asian monsoon.
To support the Campaign phase of SCSMEX (May 1 to August 31,
1998), the Seasonal-Interannual Earth Science Information Partner
(SIESIP), a joint cooperation between CEOSR/GMU, COLA and GES DISC, is
providing the following TRMM data subsets and ancillary data over
this period in the SCSMEX
region (10S-30N, 95-130E) for analysis.
