From TSDIS: On Thursday September 22, 2011 PPS replaced select 1B01, 1B11 and 2A12 
Version 7 data files due to incomplete metadata in the Version 7 
TRMM products.  The metadata in the replacement files has been corrected. 
The affected files had missing data or empty granules due to various 
ground station or TRMM spacecraft anomalies.

If you receive your data via Standing Order, you will receive E_mail 
notifcations and data notices listing these (replacement) products. 
You can either ignore these replacement (EMPTY data) products or you can 
discard the older products you may have obtained and substitute the products 
listed.

The replacement 1B11, 1B01 and 2A12 products will have a timestamp of 
20110922.

Here is a list of year/month and the number of granules that have been 
replaced.
