The TMPA (3B42, 3B43) Version 7 algorithms have been delivered to TSDIS/PPS and will start the computation on March 1, 2012 or earlier, according to the algorithm developer. One remaining issue is that SSMIS is still not settled down, so it's not clear how much SSMIS data will be included in the record.
