Nimbus-7 TOMS Daily Global 1.0°x1.25° Products

This interface is designed for visualization and analysis of the Nimbus-7 TOMS Daily Global 1.0°x1.25° Products. Users can generate plots or ASCII Output for area average (Area Plot), time series (Time Plot), and Hovmoller diagram. The animation is available only for Area Plot. Data Description

Nimbus-7 TOMS Daily Global 1.0°x1.25° Products

The Nimbus-7 TOMS Level-3 global gridded data set(new version-8) on the 1.0°x1.25° degree grids used here are produced by the NASA TOMS Science Team. The Nimbus-7 TOMS data set covers the data period from November 1, 1978 to May 6, 1993. The data is transformed from the original scaled numbers to physical quantities at GES DAAC before using it in Giovanni. TOMS global gridded data are also available on DVD-ROM in ASCII format from GES DISC DAAC.
