Alert !!!
1) Since June 25th, 2007, an anomaly ( a decrease in the radiance signal of about 20-30%) is observed in the cross track scenes 54-55 (1- based).
2) Since May 11th, 2008, another anomaly for cross-track scenes 38 to 43 (1- based) but only for northern latitudes, at Solar Zenith Angles larger than 44.0 degrees has been observed.
The anomalies are currently under investigation. It is recommended not to use the affected scenes at all Latitudes and SZAs for now |
